    Project Details

    • Office Courtyard seating living wall

Tileyard is a mixed use space with offices and studio facilities that houses Europe’s largest community of independent artists and businesses. Emrys architects who designed the space contacted Biotecture because they had the idea of including a living wall in the outside courtyard break out space that would provide somewhere to sit outside and enjoy sunny afternoons. The courtyard was designed with stacked bench seating with the living wall positioned above. The living wall was designed with an organic and free flowing pattern with subtle bursts of colored foliage and seasonal interest from flowering plants like Vinca minor and Spanish Daisies.
