    Project Details

    • Hardy planting for low temperatures
    • Interior to exterior design

This living wall for commercial estate agents, Rigedalen, is designed to flow ‘through’ the glass facade from the interior to the exterior of the building.

The two sections of living wall contain over 4,000 plants, and the external wall was planted with hardy plants to handle Norway’s cold winter temperatures. Plant species include the hardy Veronica umbrosa  ‘Georgia Blue’, a vigorous semi-evergreen, bearing deep blue flowers. The wall was installed by Biowall AS in partnership with Biotecture.
