RHS Chelsea Green Wall Educational Display 2013
Project Details
- Green Wall Educational display
- RHS Silver Medal
- Wildlife habitat
Biotecture’s green wall exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2013 was part of the Education Zone in the Great Pavilion, showcasing the sustainability features of green walls.
Biotecture has provided a number of living walls for show gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show, but this was the first one to be displayed under our own name. The educational display included a combination of living wall, information boards and wildlife habitat panels. The planting showed how beautiful living walls can be and the information boards highlighted some of the sustainability benefits of including green infrastructure within urban environments.
We were delighted to be awarded with an RHS Silver Medal.

We have contributed to show gardens that have won 3 gold medals, 1 silver gilt, 1 silver and 1 bronze. So when we were invited by the RHS to show in the Education Zone under our own right for the first time, we jumped at the opportunity - and I'm delighted to win another RHS medal!
