Re:mind Studio in Victoria, London is a meditation, healing and breathwork studio in central London. They are on a mission to bring more calm to Londoners and promote healing and relaxation.

When designing the studio space in Victoria it was important to respect their philosophy of respect for nature and the planet. The build utilised reclaimed, recycled and natural materials wherever possible and employed the principles of biophilic design.

The aim was to create a place where people would feel instantly better than they did outside. Re:Mind recognised that people connect to nature very strongly which has a range of potential health benefits including reduced blood pressure and heart rate. It was important to have lots of plants in the studio space. Being in Central London space inside the building was limited so a living plant wall was an ideal solution that would mean that they could introduce lots of plants into the space without compromising on other elements of the design.

A planting scheme with all lush greens in a ripple pattern was designed to create a tranquil atmosphere drawing on inspiration from a subtropical stream. Plants were selected to suit the indoor environment with a temperature of 17°C and above.

The Re:mind Victoria living wall has been a real hit with students and teachers alike.
