    Project Details

    • Indoor Office Reception Living Wall
    • Noise reduction benefits
    • Indoor air quality improvement

Biotecture’s client for this project is the commercial partner of Southwark Council for the regeneration of the Elephant and Castle area. This living wall in the reception of their HQ at Elephant and Castle, was installed for noise reduction and to help improve air quality. It demonstrates the company’s determination to create an authentically sustainable new living quarter in south east London.

The planting design for the living wall places a variety of contrasting species in softly waving vertical bands, creating a vibrant and welcoming feel. Species include Begonia, Peperomia and Phlebodium  ‘Blue Ferns’.

If you would like to learn about all the wonderful benefits of introducing plants into your offices you can learn more on our Benefits of indoor living walls page.
