    • Panels shipped installation-ready

Q-Free is a leading global supplier of electronic tolls and traffic control. Biotecture provided three living walls for their headquarters in Trondheim, Norway’s Silicon Valley.

One of the living walls is located in the lobby, while the other two are in the building’s break-out spaces, where staff can hold informal meetings. The design brief for these busy, social spaces was noise reduction with a modern and creative visual aesthetic. Green walls help with noise reduction, as plants absorb, diffract and reflect sound.

The walls were designed and grown in Sussex, then shipped, installation-ready in temperature controlled vehicles, as part of a construction programme managed by our Scandinavian partner Biowall AS.

We are delighted to be partnering with Biowall AS for living wall installations in Scandinavia. Their design and construction work is superb.
