In order to keep pace with rapid growth of business and tourism travel, the gulf state of Oman have invested in the expansion of it’s international airport in Muscat. The ultra modern new passenger terminal spans a total of 335,000m2 .
Biotecture’s partner company in the GGC, Uniflora worked with the architects and the clients to design, and install a unique pair of identical living walls are located within the terminal building in both the arrivals and departures areas which span across three levels. This is the largest living wall of it’s kind in the GCC. Uniflora will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the living wall.
