    Project Details

    • Biotecture's 2nd living wall for Eaton House School in Clapham
    • Living Wall on the new Kitchen / dining block

Biotecture worked for the second time with Baxall construction at The Manor which is one of the Eaton House Schools. This time we were installing a new living wall for the new kitchen and dining block. The sweeping curved lines of green and deep plum foliage tie in this new section of the school with the existing living wall on site. Due to the proximity to windows and student areas it was important to minimise the flowering species that would attract bees, instead, native species that would be good for other insects were chosen as well as rough textured leaves like ferns and grasses, proven to help remove pollutants from the air.

If you are interested in the process of designing, growing and installing a living wall you can find out more on the build process page.
