Private Garden Living Wall, Barcelona

This garden living wall is an integral part of an exceptional, elegant garden design by Luciano Giubbilei for a high end domestic property situated on the hills overlooking Barcelona.

Biotecture’s green wall flanks the outside dining terrace which is alongside a swimming pool. Plant species were chosen to suit the local climate, and the client particularly wanted flowers in early summer: Vinca Minor was one of the plants used to pixelate the whole wall with delicate white blooms in May and June.

The panels were planted and grown in the nurseries in Sussex, for shipping to Spain. Biotecture supplied the green wall complete with ancillary materials so that the whole installation could be completed in a combined first and second fix. Local craftsmen, were engaged for the construction and the work was overseen by one of Biotecture’s Project Managers.
