    • Four columns of living wall

    • Complements garden design

Biotecture worked with Uniflora LLC, our partners in Dubai, to install four living wall columns in a newly built private villa in Dubai. The tall columns complement the modern, minimalist design of the garden. The walls are populated with a mix of dark green and purple foliage, with Asparagus densiflorus and the pink flowers of Ruellia brittoniana  and Bougainvillae ‘Pink Pixie’.

When working on projects in different climates it is important for Biotecture to work closely with local partners who have a good understanding of native plant species in the region and which plants will perform well in the climate.

The Biotecture living wall system is ideal for projects in hotter climates because the hydroponic growing medium stores water and nutrients to feed the plants and ensure they always have access to the water they need to survive in hotter temperatures.

If you would like to learn more about the Hydroponic growing medium used in the Biotecture Living Wall system and why it is the prefered growing method for living walls you can visit our ‘Why Hydroponics?’ page.
