Futurebuild, brings together the most exciting innovators in the built environment industry, and after missing a year due to Covid-19, we are really looking forward to showing off our living wall systems and having some great conversations!

We will have our hydroponic BioPanel living wall system on display as well as PlantBox, a freestanding living wall system that facilitates vertical greening in smaller commercial and residential locations.

PlantBox is ideal for using as living hoardings as it can be quickly erected, dismantled and reinstalled and only requires restraint fixings. The idea has been shortlisted for the Futurebuild Big Innovation Pitch! Head to the Arena Stage at 16:30 to see our Managing Director Richard Sabin battling it out in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitch against the 5 other shortlisted entries.

Richard Sabin, Managing director at Biotecture, will also be speaking at Futurebuild’s Green infrastructure and Biodiversity Pavilion on Wednesday 2 March, 2:45- 3:15pm. The subject is; Green walls: not just eye-candy, and Richard will cover the benefits of living walls, including health and wellbeing, biodiversity net gain, air quality improvements, mitigation of the urban heat island effect and building performance, amongst others, whilst recognising their aesthetic appeal in built-up areas.
